I I am now offering a complete Reiki course covering Levels 1, 2, and 3 of the Usui Reiki Healing System. Training is available at two locations:

  • Community Education Whangarei for Levels 1 and 2, held on Saturdays and Sundays.

  • Your Healing Space at 438 Kamo Road, Whangarei, for Levels 1, 2, and 3, with weekend workshops available..

Why learn Reiki?

Reiki is considered a gift of vitality and self-preservation, believed to be encoded into our genetic structure. It symbolizes the connection of the Higher Self to the Universal Energy, which infuses all living beings with life.

In Reiki, a life force energy practice, individuals attuned to Reiki have their energy channels opened and cleared of obstructions. This attunement enhances their vital energy, or Ki, enabling self-healing and the healing of others. They become connected to the universal source of Ki or Chi.

Reiki is a hands-on healing technique that stimulates the body's natural healing processes by soothing the mind and enhancing one's vital energy. This energy work helps to remove blockages and elevate energetic vibrations, allowing the release of any stagnant or negative energies from the body.

During a Reiki session, individuals may experience sensations such as warmth, tranquility, relaxation, vibrations, tingling, or even visualizing colors as the Reiki energy circulates within their body. It's crucial to acknowledge that each person is unique, and their experience with Reiki healing will vary accordingly.

One of the most profound aspects of learning Reiki is the depth of study available, ranging from basic introductory concepts to the infinite realms of pure consciousness.

As you continue to practice and advance in Reiki, you'll discover the wonderful secondary benefits it brings, including improved health, happiness, and overall well-being. You'll find a sense of balance and inner peace on mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. Once attuned to Reiki energy, you gain the ability to extend healing to others.

FAQ’s

Allow me to guide you through your learning process with Reiki and becoming an established Reiki practitioner. Here's some answers I hope will provide a little clarity.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have completed your level one or level two you are more than welcome to join the next course offering the next level as long as you can supply the necessary certification showing you have either a level one or level two certificate.

  • Here at Awaken Your Reiki I offer Reiki training from two locations here in Whangarei.

    The first location is Community Education Whangarei or CEW.

    The second location is Your Healing Space, Whanagrei.

    These courses are more about hands-on learning rather than spending lots of time reading and exploring the manuals. We start this right from day one. Accompanying your training will be an attunement ceremony and here you are attuned to the Reiki energy. This applies with all three levels of the Reiki healing system.

  • Reiki Level One.

    Here you will be introduced to the history, five principles, hand positions and how you can easily incorporate Reiki into your daily life for self healing. Also through practising with your classmates, you will start to build your energy and confidence.

    Reiki Level Two.

    This is where you are guided into a deeper understanding of the Reiki techniques, the Reiki symbols and how to incorporate them into your healing sessions. During your attunement three sacred symbols are passed from myself to you. After your level two attunement you are now a Reiki Practitioner and able to practise on others looking for healing or just keep working on yourself.

    Reiki Level Three, Master class.

    This is the final level. Many people don’t think about going this far but I fully encourage you to complete your training. More understanding about the Reiki energy and how it applies to you and anyone you are working with is required.

    By now you should have a good understanding of all aspects of the Reiki healing system from your previous training. With your final attunement you will receive the final Reiki master symbol.

  • At the beginning of each level you will receive a manual with the necessary information to guide you on this amazing journey and at the completion of each level you will receive a framed certificate.
